the step to take to avoid a mis-step
I have worn many hats. So I know what you are going through. I have been CEO, President, Managing Director, etc. of organizations ranging from early stage to well over $2B in revenue and nearly 10K employees.
I have worked with the who’s who including: PepsiCo; Chrysler; Microsoft; BMW; Sony and countless others.
I have spent millions of dollars in management consulting and executive search fees. Some of those investments felt good. Lots did not.
In the case of the consultants, too often I was being advised by people who had never actually done any of what they were suggesting my team and I do. And with search, as a candidate…don’t get me started. But as a client, too often it felt purely transactional, like they were more interested in taking the order than in understanding our business and why we needed to make a change.
We help leaders and their teams get what they deserve through four distinct offers:
We work with individual leaders as agents helping them to navigate their own personal career journeys.
Our goal is to help them figure out what their next chapter looks like, and create a plan to help them get there.
We work with individual leaders within their organizations to help ensure maximum success for each.
Our goal is to help them get the most out of their current role, become the most effective leader they can be, and propel their organization forward.
We work with CEO’s, COO’s, CHRO’s, CSO’s, etc. poised for growth, and at the cusp of significant investments in either management consultant or executive search engagements.
Our goal is to help ensure they get the most out of those investments, or avoid them altogether.
We work with leadership teams to help ensure maximum success for those teams and their organizations.
Our goal is to help maximize efficiency, collaboration, teamwork and leadership team effectiveness.
Because you are a senior exec who has gotten all you can/need from where you are and it is time to consider a move…
Because you are a senior exec who has just landed a new role and you want to make sure you kill it…
Because you are leading an organization and you know you can’t do it on your own…but who to trust?
Because you and your leadership team have big plans and want help to ensure you exceed your ambitions…
We are the step astute leaders take to avoid a mis-step.
Don’t jump without a parachute!
Through our Excelerators Talent Management offer we work with senior leaders in search of what is next in their careers. And we love that work. There is nothing more gratifying than that “aha moment” when it becomes clear what exactly they want to do, why they are uniquely qualified to do it, and how to go and grab that brass ring.
Be the best you can be!
Through our Excelerators Leadership offer, we work with senior leaders who are already where they want to be, and they and their organizations have made a real commitment to their success. This is our executive coaching practice and is designed to work with individual leaders to maximize their potential for success where they are. Often these leaders are ones with whom we began our work through our talent management offer.
Go further!
The Excelerators Team Leadership Program mirrors our work with individual senior leaders, but is for the exco as a team rather than an individual. It focuses on ensuring the team is set up for success, and gets underneath the dynamics and mindsets that might hold them back.
It is best suited for teams who have undergone or are anticipating some significant change (new senior hire/s, acquisition, or targeted exit for example). This can be a continuation of the Exceleration Program, or be done independent of any other Excelerators engagement.
Don’t go it alone!
Our Exceleration Program is for executive teams who have recognized the need for some outside help, usually in the form of of a management consulting or executive search engagement to deliver on their strategic goals and growth aspirations. This offer is designed to maximize the value of those potential external investments, or maybe even avoid them altogether.

Intake session: Our work together begins with an assessment of where you are on the exceleration journey. Most often we find our clients are at least one step behind where they think they are
Project mapping: We will then share with you our proposed roadmap and related costs. We can typically respond to requests and begin engagements within two weeks of initial assessment.
Cost parameters: We are committed to being a partner, and determine our costs as a reflection of that. Typical starting points are: $10K/annum for the talent management offer; $25K for the leadership offer; $100K for the Exceleration program; and $75K/6mos for the team leadership program.
Finally. The world needs this and you doing exactly this. You make everyone you talk to feel smarter, brighter, more clever, and definitely more thoughtful… I would be lost without the guidance you have given me and the questions you have asked these last few years.
Matt Seiler is one of the smartest executives I have ever had the privilege of working with. Getting his insight into your business will undoubtedly lead to some transformative thinking.
Matt taught me how to effectively tell my career story. Part of his counsel focused on crafting a compelling narrative. But his greatest, most appreciated counsel emphasized deeply understanding the protagonist-me-and my goals in the next chapter.
Having had the good fortune to go through one of these workshops myself, and having witnessed the thought and energy put into the Excelerators model, I have no doubt this will be incredibly successful… and deeply valuable for those with whom you partner
Your guidance, strategic insights, and talent for finding the right people have been invaluable to me and our team over the years. You have played an incredible advisorship role and have been a long-standing partner in helping us achieve our goals.
Going through the Excelerators brief literally changed the way I thought about what I should do next in my career. Not only did it/he help me land on where I should go, he provided actionable steps to get there.
